Comparative and superlative.
1. Short adjectives

We use the comparative form od adjectives to compare two people or things:
I´m taller than Emma

We use the superlative form of the adjectives to compare three or more people or things:
Tom is the tallest boy in our class. 

Form
To form the comparative of short adjectives, we add-er (than): 
fast-faster (than)
claver- cleverer (than)

To form the superlative of short adjectives , we use the+ -est:
fast- the fastest
clever- the cleverest

*Adjectives ending in -e:
nice-nicer
*Adjectives ending in consonant+vowel+consonant:
big-bigger
*Adjectives ending in consonant+-y:
 heavy-heavier.



2. Long adjectives.
To form the comparative of long adjectives, we use more+adjective (than)
beautiful-more beautiful
expensive- more expensive

To form the superlative of long adjectives, we use the most+adjective
beautiful-the most beautiful
expensive-the most expensive.

3. Irregular adjectives

Good-better (than).the best
Bad-worse (than)-the worst
Far-further than- the furthest?

Voluntary activity: Write a comparison between two things, situations, people...whatever you want. For example:
What is better? Vacation at the beach or in the mountain?
What do you prefer: living in the city or in the village?
My brother/sister and me.
Swimming in the pool or in the sea?
